This two hour course was designed to instill proper draw techniques as to better the student’s ability to perform at a higher level.  This class is a dry fire, repetition-based class.  Topics covered will include but not limited to, open carry draw, multiple conceal carry draws, drawing from alternate positions, and offhand draws. Student’s will receive a certificate that when shown to the CQT range officer will allow them to draw on the range.

Required: Pistol, holster, 2 magazines, magazine pouch

build your own ar

This two hour class will cover the process and gear required to build an AR. Topics covered will be, parts inspection, overview of components and explanation of technical specs, explanation of the cycle of operation, assembly of the weapon, and function testing of completed firearm. Tools will be provided. This class is meant to be a hands-on build, ideally students should have all parts required to assemble an AR during class.

Cost:  $75

 
 

During this one hour, course students will learn the proper care and maintenance techniques required to maintain a functioning firearm.  Topics covered will include weapon nomenclature, disassembly, parts inspection, cleaning techniques, important areas to clean, lubrication points, reassembly, and conducting a functions check.

Required: Personal firearm (preferably dirty), cleaning kit/supplies

FOR LADIES ONLY!  Over this eight hour course, you will learn how to draw and fire your handgun, conduct "emergency" and "tactical" reloads, as well as how to clear various types of weapon malfunctions. 

Required: Personal firearm, eye and ear protection, holster, three magazines, magazine pouch/holster, minimum of five snap caps, minimum of 250 rounds of ammunition.

The key to being a successful and great shooter is repetition. At home it may be hard to spot check yourself and know if the technique is being performed correctly. This course is designed to refresh student’s fundamentals through dry practice and instructor corrections.  During this class students will dry practice the techniques learned to ensure proper form and technique are being applied. There is no classroom portion to this class or live fire range time.  **Note: This is a Dry Fire Refresher only.  Students will receive 50% off range time, if used immediately following class.

Required: Successful completion of Handgun 1 or Handgun 2 (must show proof to attend), pistol, two magazines, holster, one magazine pouch, minimum of 2 snap caps.

Carbine - dry fire refresher

This three hour course will be a follow up to any individuals that have completed Force on Force training and are looking to further their skills and abilities.  During this class student will run through a number of scenarios that sharpen their ability to respond to real like situations in which stress and fear are factors.    Students are recommended to wear heavy clothing that they don’t mind gets dirty.  All protective gear will be provided.

This four hour class will cover the basic fundamentals of combative shotgun.  Topics covered will include Marksmanship fundamentals, presentation skills, emergency and tactical reloads, and stoppage and malfunction drills.

Required: Personal firearm, eye and ear protection, magazine pouch/bandoleer, minimum of 2 snap caps, minimum 100 rounds of ammunition (sluggs only)

The purpose of this two hour class is to expand upon the knowledge gained in Shotgun 1 and further the students skills and abilities to safely and effectively handle the shotgun.  This course will cover the use of ballistic cover and concealment, shooting on the move, engaging targets to the left, right and rear.

Required:  Successful completion of Shotgun 1, eye and ear protection, magazine pouch/bandoleer, minimum of 2 snap caps, minimum 100 rounds of ammunition (sluggs only), knee pads (optional)

This six hour course was designed to give students the ability to safely and effectively navigate through a household safely in a high risk, high stress situation. The students will learn topics such as basic footwork, danger areas, unknowns, weapons handling, and threat recognition. This course will utilize the VirTra 300 Simulator, Force on Force, and Shoothouse areas.  This is a scenario based class that will include force on target (simunition on paper) and Force on Force (Student vs Students) based scenarios.  This class is designed to induce stress, elevated heart-rates, and rapid breathing cycles as to best simulate the effects of life or death situations. Students are recommended to wear heavy clothing that they don’t mind gets dirty.  All protective gear will be provided.

home defense 1


In Home Defense 2, students will further the skills and abilities learned in Home Defense 1.  This class will begin with a footwork and weapons handling refresher.  During this class, students will once again encounter Force on Force situations as well as live fire runs*.  The scenarios will include shoot and no shoot targets to better test the student’s ability to correctly identify threats.  *The live fire portion will be based on the Instructors discretion based off students’ knowledge retention/application and safe weapons handling.

Required: Successful completion of Handgun 1, Handgun 2, AND Home Defense 1 (must have to attend), Personal firearm, holster, 2 magazines, 1 magazine pouch, eye and ear protection, minimum 100 rounds of ammunition
